By accessing or using One People websites, waitlists, beta services, or related community spaces we operate, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the services.
One People is building an open-source platform for community-owned infrastructure, including Nexus experiences, public information pages, and early-access or waitlist programs.
Some parts of the project are public content, some are community spaces, and some are beta software that may change quickly.
These terms are written to be understandable. The goal is to set honest expectations, not hide important conditions behind dense legal formatting.
Specific spaces such as the Commons, GitHub repositories, or beta programs may have additional rules, contribution standards, or codes of conduct.
You agree not to misuse the site or services, interfere with security, violate applicable law, infringe others' rights, or use the platform to distribute malicious code, spam, or abusive material.
If you join a waitlist or beta, you agree to provide accurate information and understand that invitations, access levels, and timelines are discretionary and may change.
We may suspend or remove access where needed to protect users, infrastructure, or the integrity of the community.
We may modify, pause, or discontinue features at any time, especially during pre-release and beta stages.
Where One People publishes source code under the AGPL-3.0, your use, modification, and distribution of that code are governed by that license.
Unless a different license is stated, site copy, artwork, names, logos, and brand elements remain the property of One People or their respective licensors.
If you submit feedback, ideas, or contributions through public channels, you represent that you have the right to share them and that we may use them to improve the project, subject to any stated contribution terms.
Third-party services and content remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Pre-release services may contain bugs, incomplete features, broken workflows, or unstable behavior. Do not rely on beta features for critical use cases without your own safeguards.
Content on the site is for general information and should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for how you use the software, services, and any outputs produced through them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, One People and its contributors, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
These terms should be governed by the laws of [Insert State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Replace this placeholder before publishing as final legal terms.
We may update these terms as the project evolves. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective update date where appropriate.
